The kit includes all the electronic and mechanical components you need to assemble a working JARY humanoid: ESP32-S3 controller, FEETECH ST3215 serial servos (15 units), OV5640 camera module, MPU6050 IMU, power distribution board, LiPo 2S 7.4V battery, charging board, wiring harness, fasteners, bearings and pre-printed structural PETG/PLA+ parts. A printed quick-start guide and access to the online documentation are also included.

No. The Complete Kit ships with the structural parts already printed, cleaned and organized by module. If you prefer to print your own parts, you can download the STL files from the Jary downloads page and use the recommended slicer settings.

Only common maker tools: a small Phillips screwdriver, precision hex keys, flush cutters, needle-nose pliers and a computer with a USB-C cable. No soldering is required for the standard kit.

Jary is designed for advanced beginners and up. The mechanical build is approachable with the illustrated guide, while the firmware and programming sections let more experienced users modify motion sequences, integrate sensors and experiment with Python or ROS.

The kit is the recommended hardware bundle for the open-source Jary project. It gives you tested, matched components and printed parts so you can focus on building, learning and modifying instead of sourcing parts.

For the current pre-order window the Jary Complete Kit is available at $599. This price includes the 3D-printed PETG structural parts, so you can start assembling right away. Prices are in USD.

The Print-it-Yourself (PIY) kit contains the same electronics, hardware, servos and wiring as the Complete Kit, but without the 3D-printed structural parts. You print the parts yourself using the open-source files. It is available now at $569.

The $599 pre-order price is available while launch-edition units remain in stock. Once those units sell out, the regular retail price will take effect.

Yes. You can place a pre-order at the current listed price. Orders are fulfilled in the sequence they are received. Estimated shipping windows are shown at checkout.

Yes. Schools, universities and makerspaces ordering multiple kits can request an education quote with volume pricing, combined shipping and onboarding support. Use the contact form or email our education team.

We ship to the United States and select international destinations. Available countries, shipping options and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your address.

Shipping begins December 15, 2026. Standard shipping is $29 and typically delivers in 5–10 business days after that date. Express shipping is $69 and typically delivers in 2–4 business days after that date. Final rates and dates are confirmed at checkout before payment.

Pre-orders begin shipping on December 15, 2026, in the order they are received. In-stock items usually ship within two business days. You will receive tracking information as soon as the package ships.

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes and customs fees charged by the destination country. These costs are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the product or shipping price.

Contact support as soon as possible. We can update the address before the order ships. Once the kit has left our warehouse, you will need to work directly with the carrier.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, as well as Google Pay and Apple Pay where available.

Yes. We never store your full card details on our servers. Stripe handles payment data using PCI-compliant security standards and encryption.

Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and local regulations. The order summary shows the exact amount before you confirm payment.

You can request a cancellation before your kit ships for a full refund. Once shipped, unopened kits may be returned within the return window stated at checkout. Opened or assembled kits may only be returned if they arrive defective or incomplete. Contact support with your order number to start a return.
